The Menil Drawing Institute, founded in 2008 as the first U.S. freestanding facility dedicated to modern and contemporary drawings from John and Dominique de Menil’s collection. IT SITS IN the heart of the 30-acre Menil campus. The 30,000-square-foot structure WAS Designed by Los Angeles firm Johnston Marklee and opened in 2018.
